On Thursday, The treatment of the Sundherbans Tiger, was
brought to Alipore zoo is doing well now. According to the officers
of zoo the big cat is about 7 to 8 years old.
Dr D N Banerjee, who is attending to the tiger at the zoo said,
“On Saturday Morning we did give the full chicken and 3 kg meat at
the night. He eat the complete chicken, On Sunday we are planning to
raise the quantity of meat.”
According the Neeraj Singhal, Director of Zoo,”Now thw condition
of the Sundherbans tiger is better but the back portion is not
recover well. During the stool test we did find the presence of worms
ans also have plan to collect its blood samples.”
