A woman killed by Pilibhit tiger near Gajraula village

A strayed out Pilibhit Indian tiger killed a woman near Gajraula village on last two days and the forest member have to decided that to catch this roll out wild animal. 

According to the Arvind Kumar Singh, Divisional Forest Officer (Social Forestry), he is trying to arrange a team ti catch this wild animal and asked the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) to send a team. This strayed out tiger also attacked a teen age boy near Bilhari village.

The forest official member said that the tiger attack the boy when he had gone his filed and the tiger leave the boy when his father and grandfather raised on alarm on Wednesday. According to the Arpit Mishra, the back of that teenage boy is injured and he was admitted in to the nearest hospital.

One of the official member Mr. Singh said that the tiger attacked that woman on Tuesday and they are verifying that it was the tiger that was seen in to the Puranpur forest range. The Wildlife Trust of India (WTI), which send a team to find and catch the tiger, did not start the operation due to absence of elephants in the forest. And according to Mr Singh, To bring elephants from Dudhwa National Park he had find funds from the forest department.

Sundharbans tiger recovering, In Alipore Zoo

On Thursday, The treatment of the Sundherbans Tiger, was brought to Alipore zoo is doing well now. According to the officers of zoo the big cat is about 7 to 8 years old.

Dr D N Banerjee, who is attending to the tiger at the zoo said, “On Saturday Morning we did give the full chicken and 3 kg meat at the night. He eat the complete chicken, On Sunday we are planning to raise the quantity of meat.”

According the Neeraj Singhal, Director of Zoo,”Now thw condition of the Sundherbans tiger is better but the back portion is not recover well. During the stool test we did find the presence of worms ans also have plan to collect its blood samples.”

A roll out Pilibhit Tiger attack a Man

Today in Daiya village, a young Phlibhit Tiger attacked a man which has roll out of the Pilibhit forest.

Accroding to A K Singh, Divisional Forest Officer, Pilibhit, “For the last eight days a two and half year old male has been roaming in Pooranpur town area of Pilibhit district but till now he was killed by the Tiger.”

A K Singh said that this incident is took place when the 35 years old Darbari Lal was working in his field with his younger brother. It is the first attack on the human beings. When the Tiger attacked Darbari, his younger brother raised an alarm.

A dead Tiger Found in Chandrapur forest, Maharashtra


On June 30, a decomposed body of an adult Tiger was founded in Karwa forest area under Junona Range. It is around 8 Kilometers far away from the Chandrapur city.
According to the Regional Manager, Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra (North Chandrapur), Sanjay Thakre, "The big cat probably died five days ago in a fight over the territory with another tiger".
Around the 25 meters away from the body the forest officials find out the some bloodstains and pug-marks during the inspection.
Sanjay Thakre said, "the Tiger was 10 years old male and fully grown. During the inspection of the Tiger the forest officials found the some deep injuries on its head, legs and ribs.
