A white tiger is suffering from paralysis at Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Park (Bokaro zoo)

At the Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical (JNB) Park (Bokaro zoo) , a white tiger, five years old named as Satpuda is suffering from paralysis in the both back legs. The JNB park staff provide the essential treatment of the paralysis white tiger.

According to the Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Park officials,”They did inform the condition of the white tiger to the Central Zoo Authority (CZA) and the authorities get help from the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI).”

“The Bokaro zoo officials noticed that the tiger did not take its food and sit at the same place for a long time period” G Chakraborty said.

According to the G Chakraborty, park official,”After checking the white tiger he found that the Satpuda is suffered paralysis in the both back legs.”


Chakraborty a park official, also a veterinarian said,” To avoid the infection in to the cage we are deal with cleanliness and suitable drugs and the big cat take five to six kg buffalo meat every day as a regular diet.”

This year, to the exchange of a peacock and parakeets a one big cat (Ganga) is also brought to Bokaro zoo from Maiti Bagh in Bailai (Chattisgarh) in January.

On May 17, the tigress (Ganga) did give birth to three white cubs and a one month later, one of the cubs died in a freak accident.
