In Ramnagar forest division a tiger attacked
two woman and a ten years old girl named as Joga Devi, Kamla devi,
and Anjali on Friday. This incident is close to the buffer zone of
the Jim Corbett National park.
According to the Ravindra Juyal, DFO (Ramnagar
forest division), the tiger attacked on them when the two lady Joga
Devi and Kamla Devi and a young girl Anjali were going to collect
fodder for their cattle. Tiger attacked them near a primary school in
Nainital's Ramnagar forest division. When the tiger pounced on them
the woman shouted and cried for help. Then the villagers from Teda
came to save them and the tiger go away in to the forest.
Both woman and young girl are admitted in to a
Ramnagar's Community Health Centre (CHC). According to Doctors the
conditions of all the woman and young girl is very serious so that
all of three of them are shifted to Haldwani Medical College for
better treatment.
When the villagers in Ramnagar forest division
heared this incident then they rushed to the spot and gheraoed the
senior forest officials and shows presentation and demand for the
security from the tigers and other wild animals. They also demanded
to relocated them in other safe areas to the Uttarakhand government.
